Secrets 1 Spin Fishing
Gliding dropper
In
the movie ”Sea Trout Secrets 1 Spin fishing”, we see Peter Kirkby use a
special dropper rig. The rig essentially works in much the same way as
the rig described as an inline-setup, which can be found here in the
fishing tips section too.
This rig, however, is made
in a different way, and many fishermen seem to think that this is a
smarter and easier way to make it.
The
technique is really simple. If a fish takes the dropper, the spoon will
glide up – and the fly and spoon will switch positions. This way, the
risk of the spoon getting stuck in seaweeds during the fight, because it
drags behind the fish, is reduced.
The rig itself is made in advance. Out on the fishing spot
the main leader is mounted to the swivel which sits between the rubber
stops. The best leader material for making the rig is 0,30 – 0,35mm
nylon or fluorocarbon.
There’s a rubber stop in front of the swivel out towards the
dropper-line. By mounting two rubber stops on the spoon section of the
leader, there is good resistance, when a fish hits on the dropper. This
way, it is easier to hook the fish.

Gleitender Aufhänger
Im Film „Geheimnisse der Meerforellen 1 – Spinnfischen“, sehen wir Peter Kirby mit einem speziellen Aufhänger-Tackle. Das Tackel funktioniert im Prinzip wie das Tackle, das als Durchlaufaufhänger („gennemløbsophænger“) unter „Angeltipps“ beschrieben ist. Dieses Tackle hier ist jedoch anders aufgebaut, und manche werden meinen, dass dies hier etwas smarter und leichter zusammenzusetzen ist.
Das Prinzip ist recht einfach. Wenn ein Fisch die Aufhängerfliege nimmt, gleitet der Blinker hinauf – und die Fliege und der Blinker tauschen die Plätze. Dadurch vermindert sich das Risiko, dass der Blinker in der Vegetation hängen bleibt, weil er hinter der Fliege hergezogen wird.
Das Tackle selbst hat man zuhause zusammengesetzt. Am Wasser wird die Hauptschnur dann an den Wirbel gebunden, der zwischen den beiden Gummistoppern montiert ist. Das Tackle bindet man am besten mit einer 0,30 – 0,35 mm Nylon- oder Fluocarbonschnur.
Ein Gummistopper sitzt vor dem Wirbel Richtung Aufhängerschlaufe. Er schützt den Knoten und stoppt den Wirbel von der Hauptschnur. Dadurch, dass man zwei Gummistopper an der Schlaufe zum Blinker montiert, erhält man einen besseren Widerstand wenn der Fisch den Aufhänger nimmt. Der Fisch wird besser gehakt.
