Locations from the movies
The Fish & The Fly 1, 2 & 3

We have fished and filmed in a variety of different waters in different countries. Our journeys haven’t been sponsored, and we have chosen the locations ourselves. Below, you’ll find links and information about our fishing trips abroad.

Greenland
On Greenland we have filmed and fished on trips arranged by GetAway Tours, who have specialized in packaged fishing trips of the highest quality. With GetAway Tours, fishing is the main priority. We have journeyed far out into the wilderness and fished amazing rivers with populations of big and beautiful arctic char. You can read more about GetAway Tours’ fishing trips to Greenland by visiting the following link:getawaytours.dk >>

Lapland - Sweden
In Swedish Lappland our fishing trips have been concentrated along the fell rivers in the Ammernäs area. These fell waters aren’t easily accessible, and we have had great help from the local guide and fishing trip organizer Ulf Johansson. There are many fishing possibilities in the area surrounding Ammarnäs and you can find more info on the following homepage: ammarnasfishing.com >>

Traun - Germany
For most fly fisherman it is a big surprise that Southern Germany has these beautiful rivers with impressive populations of big brown- and rainbow trout. Morten has fished the River Traun on several occasions during the last years, and he knows the river well. During our trips to Germany we have had great help from Rudi Heger and by following this link, you will find a lot of additional information about the River Traun: rudiheger.eu >>

New Zeeland
We have fished an array of the different larger and well-known rivers on the South Island. Morten Oeland has previously been on longer fishing trips to New Zealand, but we have enjoyed the help of Mike Kirkpatrick, who is a very skilled professional fishing-guide from New Zealand. Mike has even produced a series of fishing-DVDs about New Zealand. To learn more go to his website: latitudeguiding.co.nz >>
